Devon is internationally published in Scoot and Scootering Magazines. Both are magazines that focus on the vintage scooter world. These articles are posted on this website, click on the "Scootering" charm. She has been a writer for the last five years. Devon has also completed her first book project, so far called Surviving the 90s From Temp to Perm. She is actively looking for an agent to represent her work. Her upcoming projects include a screenplay and a fiction project about a girl that goes on a crime spree before getting help. She is able to work on these projects during her slow times at her day job, an office manager at a scooter repair shop. She currently lives in Fullerton, California. She is married and has three Scottie dogs, no children. She enjoys the Down Town Fullerton scene and can be seen at the farmers market during the summer months. On Sundays she takes her surfboard out to the beach. She rides her scooter when she can; but the demands of her job usually call for the use of her 2001 VW Beetle. She has traveled to Europe in 03,05 and 06. Devon is one of the most naturally funny and endearing people I have met in the course of my work as a book editor. This wildly appealing memoir she wrote of her early years working as a temp in the hum-drum world of small- and medium-size business--while trying desperately to liberate herself from her control freak mother--is absolutely captivating, and more fun to read than anything I have come across in recent years. What is more, Devon is a sheer delight to work with. She is reliable, honest, flexible, and appreciative, and, as I said, funny and endearing. In other words, she is a perfect client. If there is justice in the world, her book will be nothing short of a bestseller, and a natural, by the way, for a TV sitcom and/or feature length film. -Roberta Edgar Devon captures pop culture perfectly. You slip into the nineties instantly, and its a great adventure living through her vicariously. Devons retro style and observations continually has you smiling, and chuckling. You immediately wish you had such a wonderful outlook on life. I learned from Devon not to take life so serious and to find humor around every corner. Its fun escape; you want to be Devons new best friend. Susie Dittmar © Devon's World 2007. All rights reserved. All content contained herin is the sole copyright of the owner.
