Devon's World: Surfing

Devon surfs on Sundays in Southern Californian. She goes to different beaches so it always changes. So what if it’s a cliché that every one surfs in SoCal, it just happens to be something she enjoys.

She had tried to surf during the 1980’s when she was a teenager. Her family did not encourage her and she didn’t keep it up. But she never lost her love for the ocean and all the time she did spend there.

Just before her 36th birthday she decided to get back out there and has been going out since then. Not feeling she is really proficient yet there are no photos. She uses an 8 ft fun-board. While she does push herself to excel in other areas of her life this is not one of them. She would rather take it slow and enjoy being in the water and relaxing, its’ not like she is going pro at her age. So no need to feel pressure on some thing that is so fun.
